Capturing notes during a dial session and after a live conversation is a crucial aspect of using PhoneBurner. This practice enables you to retain important information about a contact for future reference and track call outcomes effectively.
There are two distinct note fields available:
These notes are designed for recording general information about the contact that you want to remember. For instance, details like the fact that they have five children and are passionate about soccer or that they recently relocated to California and are working remotely.
Add a Note Field:
These notes are intended to help you record a chronological series of details about a contact such as documenting call outcomes, which will be automatically recorded when you disposition a call, or capturing specific notes related to conversations with a contact, which will need to be manually logged. This could include notes about their interest in proceeding with an appointment or a reminder to call them back in three months if they're still under contract with a competitor.
Keep in mind that once you disposition a call, PhoneBurner will move on to the next contact. Accordingly, you should record notes before dispositioning the call. If you happen to disposition a call before all of your notes are captured, you can always pause your dial session and find/edit the appropriate contact record.
If you navigate to another page after making any note changes, that data will auto-save within the contact record.

Old notes will be added at the bottom of your new notes and marked as "Legacy Notes".

Why was I moved to this new notes experience?
The new notes experience improved how notes are formatted, saved, and displayed in both the contact record and live dial session. The display is clean and simple, allowing each note to have a distinct time-stamped record for easy record-keeping. The new note taker will automatically record dispositions and auto-save notes if you accidentally leave the page. The most recent note is displayed first to provide dialers with immediate insight into the last interaction.
