Hello there! Have you ever been in a dial session, connecting with people and having great conversations, but wishing you could play an audio file—like a testimonial or disclaimer—without needing to three-way in another line?
Good news! PhoneBurner has a feature just for that—it's called Click to Present, and here’s how you can use it.
Step 1: Enable Click to Present
From your PhoneBurner back office:
-
Click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner.
-
Go to Settings > Dial Session.
-
Click Click to Present on the left.
-
Agree to the terms and conditions to enable the feature.
Step 2: Add Audio Files
Before you can use audio files in Click to Present, you need to upload them to your Voicemail Library.
-
Go to Voicemail Library from the same settings menu.
-
Click Add Voicemail.
-
Give your file a name (e.g., “Success Story”).
-
Choose Upload, select your MP3 file, and click Save.
Don't worry—this file doesn’t have to remain in the voicemail library. We're just using this step to get it into the system.
Step 3: Add to Click to Present Library
-
Return to Click to Present.
-
Scroll down to your voicemail recordings.
-
Click Add to Library next to the audio file you want.
-
Now it's in your Click to Present Library!
You can go back to the voicemail library and delete the file if it’s not needed there—it won’t affect its availability in Click to Present.
Step 4: Use It in a Dial Session
-
Go to Contacts and start a dial session.
-
Once connected to a contact, click on the Click to Present tab on the right side.
-
Use the dropdown menu to select your audio file.
-
Click Play—the audio plays to both you and your contact.
-
Use Stop to end playback (note: there's no pause; stopping resets it).
Pro Tips:
-
Always disclose that the person will hear a recorded message to avoid confusion or misrepresentation.
-
Great for disclaimers, success stories, or scripted info you want to share consistently.
And that’s how you can use Click to Present to play pre-recorded audio live during your PhoneBurner dial sessions—no need to conference anyone in!
Thanks for watching, and as always—happy dialing!
