🧹 Cleaned-Up Transcript:
This is where the rubber meets the road.
Now that you’ve imported your contacts, recorded your outgoing voicemail, set up your outbound caller ID, and created a folder structure to stay organized by call outcome—it’s time to start smiling and dialing.
Starting Your Dial Session
From the Contact Manager, select the folder with the data you want to call—here we’re using “Campaign Calls.”
You can select individual contacts or the entire page. Once selected, click the “Begin Dial Session” button.
This opens a window where you’ll configure your dial session settings.
Since you’re just getting started, you may not have everything fully configured yet—but here’s what you can expect:
-
Phone Script: Optionally display a script on-screen during calls.
-
Dispositions: Choose a dialing and live answer set you’ve configured.
-
Voicemail Recording: Pick a pre-recorded voicemail (e.g., “Monday Voicemail”).
-
Caller ID: Select the number you want to display (like a purchased VPhone number).
-
Dialer Mode:
-
Pause and Preview lets you review each contact before dialing.
-
Power Dialing (most popular) auto-dials the next contact immediately.
-
-
Call Recording: Available if enabled in your account.
Once your settings are chosen, hit Continue.
Connecting to the System
Depending on your plan:
-
Use your browser and headset (Professional or Premium), or
-
Dial in using your telephone.
Here, I’ll use my headset. I click Grant Mic Access, allow access, and I’m connected.
Hit Start Dialing, and the system begins calling your selected contacts.
During the Dial Session
-
Voicemail:
-
Click to leave a pre-recorded voicemail—no need to wait for the beep.
-
Or wait and leave a live voicemail manually (e.g., “Hi, this is Jeff…”), then click “Live Voicemail.”
-
-
Live Answer:
-
No pause, delay, or awkward silence. As soon as they pick up, you’re live.
-
During the conversation, click Live Answer. When finished, click End Call.
-
-
Follow-Up:
-
If the Follow-Up button is grayed out, it’s because it requires a date.
-
Once you select a follow-up date, click the button to save it.
-
-
Extra Options:
-
You can put a contact on hold or transfer the call (requires transfer agents, covered in a separate training).
-
After the call, you can add notes or create an appointment on your PhoneBurner calendar.
Now it’s up to you—start making calls and connecting with contacts.
When you’re done, mark this step complete and move on to the next one.
Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
Bye for now.
