- The first time you use Click-to-Call, allow PhoneBurner to access your microphone.
-
In-Call Features:

Most of the time when you're using PhoneBurner, you'll have a list of people you want to reach out to — you'll select that list and begin a dial session.
However, there are times when you just need to reach out to one specific contact. In those cases, it doesn’t make sense to queue up an entire dial session — that’s where the Click-to-Call feature comes in.
From the contact record, you’ll see a phone icon next to any phone number. If you have a new phone number for that contact, simply click the plus icon, enter the number, assign a label if desired, and add it.
Any phone number listed for that contact can now be clicked to initiate a call.
For example, let’s say I want to call this new number. I’ll click the phone icon, and the Click-to-Call window will appear.
The first time you use this feature, you’ll need to allow PhoneBurner to access your microphone. I recommend setting it to remember this setting to avoid confirming it each time.
Once allowed, the call will begin.
During the call:
- The caller ID displayed will match the number you used in previous dial sessions with this contact.
- Click Mute if you need to speak privately without the prospect hearing.
- Use the keypad to navigate any automated phone menus.
When the conversation ends, click the Hang Up button.
Now you’ll see an option to select a disposition for that call.
For example, if I spoke with this contact and booked an appointment, I would select the Follow-up disposition.
If your follow-up settings require a date, PhoneBurner will prompt you to set one before confirming the disposition.
Depending on your configuration, the disposition may also:
- Move the contact to a specific folder.
- Add or remove tags.
- Trigger a webhook or send an automated email.
In this example, my contact was moved from the Closed Lost folder to the Follow-up folder after I dispositioned the call.
That’s how simple it is to use the Click-to-Call feature in PhoneBurner.
Now it’s time to get out there and get more done using the power of PhoneBurner.
Thanks again for watching, and happy dialing!
