Yes, call recording remains active during a call transfer, but what is recorded depends on how the transfer is handled.
If the transfer agent is conferenced into the call but the lead is not yet transferred, the system continues recording the prospect’s line. When the rep calls the transfer agent, the prospect is placed on hold, and the system keeps recording the prospect’s line during that time.
NOTE: The private “warm transfer” conversation between the rep and the transfer agent is not recorded.
Once all lines are merged, the system records the full conversation between the rep, the transfer agent, and the prospect. If the rep later leaves the bridged call, the system continues recording the transfer agent and the prospect.
Recording remains active until the prospect hangs up. At that point, the call is disconnected from the PhoneBurner phone system.
