Can I use Magic Jack to dial?

We do not recommend using Magic Jack to dial into PhoneBurner.

Magic Jack uses routing that connects poorly to our system, which adversely affects call quality. Additionally, Magic Jack considers dialing into PhoneBurner the same as a "conference line." As a result, they may alert you of additional charges for these types of calls.

If you have no option other than Magic Jack, our support team can activate our "Connect Me" setting which prompts our system to call you at your Magic Jack number. Because Magic Jack doesn't block inbound calls or consider them conference calls, this may be a workable solution. However, you'll experience superior call quality dialing in using any other phone.

If you are using Magic Jack, you may wish to upgrade your account so you can use the built in softphone.
