Access Settings:
- Click on your initials in the upper right corner.
- Select Dial Session under Settings.

- On the left side, select Call Transcription.
- Ensure that Call Recording is enabled.
- Toggle the switch to enable transcriptions, agree to the disclaimer, and activate the feature.

- After enabling transcription, toggle the switch to automate AI-generated summaries.

Viewing Transcriptions and Summaries:
- Access summaries via the Call History tab by viewing session details or clicking the eyeglasses icon.
- Admins can access call data through custom reports.
- Summaries are also stored as notes in the contact's detail page.

You know what they say: premium PhoneBurner customers get the best! All right, maybe it's just me that says that, but it's still true nonetheless.
As a PhoneBurner premium customer, you not only have the option to enable call transcription for all your calls but also have those summarized with AI. Let me show you how to enable this feature in your premium PhoneBurner account.
When you're logged in, click on your initials in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Next, go down to the Dial Session option under Settings.
From here, on the left-hand side, you'll see a link called Call Transcription. Keep in mind, to enable this feature, you must have the Call Recording feature enabled on your account — if we can't record the calls, we can't transcribe them.
In the upper right corner, click the toggle switch. A disclaimer will appear — agree to it by clicking the I understand button to activate the feature.
Once enabled, you'll also have the option to automate call summaries based on those transcriptions. Toggle that switch as well, and you're all set!
Now, whenever you or anyone on your team makes calls using PhoneBurner and connects with someone live, as long as call recording is enabled, that call will be transcribed and summarized for you.
For example, let's say we spoke with Jeff Sample, had a great conversation, and booked an appointment with him. Once the call ends and the dial session continues, you can access the transcription details in a few ways:
- Call History Tab: View session details to see a summary and detailed dial session notes.
- Eyeglasses Icon: Click this to listen to the recording, review the summary, and see the entire transcription.
Admins can also access this data in custom reports. For example, by setting the date range to today, you'll see total live answers, Jeff Sample’s name, and the dial session notes summarizing that call.
Additionally, summaries are logged as notes directly in the contact’s detail page. Even if you're not viewing dial session history or reports, you'll still find the summary conveniently stored in the contact record.
That's how you, as a PhoneBurner premium customer, can take advantage of the call transcription feature.
