Have you activated the PhoneBurner Connect Score on your account so that you and your team can focus your time and energy on phone numbers with a higher likelihood of connecting? If so, you're probably interested in viewing reporting that relates specifically to the Connect Score associated with those contacts and phone numbers, right?
Let me show you how you can review the Connect Score reporting—it's super simple.
From within your PhoneBurner account, click on your initials in the upper right-hand corner of the page, then go to Dial Sessions under Settings. From the Dial Session Settings page, look over on the left-hand side and click on Connect Scores.
Here, you’ll see your monthly usage. You’ll be able to adjust your plan if needed, enable the Score and Skip option, and set your minimum threshold. But that’s not what we’re here to talk about—we're focusing on reporting.
Click on the Reporting option to expand the available reports for Connect Score. Let’s scroll down—there are two key reports: the Call Volume report and the Connected Calls report.
The first thing to decide is your date range. Right now, mine is set to "Year to Date." If you click the dropdown, you can adjust this to other presets like: Yesterday, Week to Date, Month to Date, Quarter to Date, Previous Week, Previous Month, Previous Quarter, Previous Year, or custom options like Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 3 Months, or Last 6 Months.
To the right of that dropdown, there's a calendar tool where you can manually select a custom date range. For example, if you want to look specifically at August 1st through the 23rd, you can set that—even if it's not one of the preset options. Just click on the date range area to access that.
To the right of the date selector, you’ll also see a Date Grouping option—choose between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
By default, mine is set to weekly. If I switch to daily and scroll down, you’ll see that each node on the graph now represents a single day. Switch it back to weekly, and each node represents a week. You can also switch to monthly if you prefer.
Lastly, there’s an option to filter by Connect Score. You can select one or multiple scores, and the graph updates in real time. By default, all scores are selected.
Now, looking at the Call Volume graph, you can see how many calls were placed during the selected time frame, grouped by your date setting (daily, weekly, or monthly). Similarly, the Connected Calls graph shows how many of those calls resulted in connections.
You’ll typically notice that calls made to low-quality phone numbers have significantly fewer connections compared to those made to high-quality or medium-quality numbers.
Again, keep in mind this is demo data, so the volume and variation are minimal—but this overview gives you a clear understanding of how the Connect Score reporting works.
By activating the Connect Score feature, you can see how valuable it is to skip lower-quality phone numbers and instead focus on high- and medium-quality numbers that are more likely to result in conversations.
I hope this helps you take full advantage of the data available in PhoneBurner, so you can have more quality conversations with more contacts.
Thanks again, and happy dialing!
