✅ SUMMARY:
This video explains how to use the Connection Rate Report in PhoneBurner to track the performance of PhoneBurner-purchased phone numbers. To access it, go to the Reports tab and select Connection Rate. You can adjust the date range to view performance over time. 🧼 CLEANED-UP TRANSCRIPT:
Are you buying phone numbers through PhoneBurner and using number pools to help organize your outbound caller IDs? If so, you may also want to track the connection rate for each of those numbers—and PhoneBurner has a built-in report for that.
Let me show you how to take advantage of the Connection Rate Report.
Accessing the Report
At the top of your screen, click on the Reports tab.
From there, you'll see all the different reporting options available in PhoneBurner. The one we're focused on today is the Connection Rate report.
Click on it to open the Connection Rate Report dashboard.
What the Report Shows
By default, it will show you data for today's date, listing every phone number you've purchased from PhoneBurner that has been used as an outbound caller ID.
⚠️ Important: This report only includes PhoneBurner-purchased numbers. Any external numbers you've added to your Caller ID Library will not appear here.
For each number, you'll see:
- The number of calls made using that phone number as the outbound caller ID
- The connection rate for that number
This gives you a clear, quick snapshot of how each number is performing.
Customizing the Date Range
Want a broader view? Simply adjust the start and end dates at the top of the report and click Generate Report.
The system will scan your dial sessions and compile updated data, showing connection rates for each PhoneBurner number used during the selected time frame.
Want More Robust Reporting?
If you're looking for deeper insights on the numbers you’ve purchased, consider activating ARMOR® in your account.
ARMOR® (Answer Rates Monitoring Optimization and Remediation)
protects your numbers and gives you access to a dedicated dashboard with enhanced call tracking and analytics—specifically for ARMOR-protected phone numbers.
This training doesn’t cover ARMOR® reporting in detail, but if you want to take your number performance and visibility to the next level, upgrading to ARMOR® is highly recommended.
That’s a quick overview of the Connection Rate Report in PhoneBurner.
It’s a great tool to help you and your organization understand the performance of your outbound numbers and optimize connection rates.
Thanks again—and happy dialing!
