✅ Summary:
This training video in the LeadStream training module covers two key administrative features in PhoneBurner:
- Hiding the total number of leads in a LeadStream from team members.
- Adding or managing team members within specific LeadStreams.
Key Topics:
- Hiding Total Lead Counts:
- Found in the LeadStream settings when adding/editing a LeadStream.
- Useful for blind pull LeadStreams where you don’t want agents to be influenced by how many leads are visible.
- When enabled, the number of leads is hidden, but the dial session button remains visible if leads are available.
- Especially helpful for teams using multiple LeadStreams by industry or priority and want to control visibility.
- Adding and Managing Team Members:
- Each LeadStream has a team member management tool (people icon).
- Admins can:
- Add team members.
- Set daily and/or total lead limits (depending on LeadStream type).
- Choose whether a team member is a blind pull or preview pull recipient.
- Assign dialer presets for that LeadStream.
- Remove or pause team members if needed.
- Different LeadStream types offer different recipient options. For example:
- Blind/Preview Pull: Allows lead type selection + lead limits.
- RoundRobin: No total lead limit option; only daily limits.
This setup gives admins granular control over how data is distributed, who sees what, and how much access individual team members have to available leads.

📝 Cleaned-Up Transcript:
As you know—or as you should know—PhoneBurner is all about helping you and your team connect with more people and have more quality conversations with your contacts. One of the most important pieces of that is making sure your team actually has contacts or leads to call.
We offer several ways to get leads into your team’s hands, and in this video—which is part of the LeadStream training module—we're going to cover two important features:
- How to hide the number of leads available in a LeadStream
- How to add team members to a LeadStream
🫥 Hiding Lead Counts in LeadStreams
Let’s jump into the Contacts section. As an admin, click on the gear icon, then select LeadStream.
Now, instead of editing an existing LeadStream, I’ll click Add LeadStream so I can walk you through the process.
Scroll to the bottom of the setup page, and you’ll see a checkbox option:
“Hide total number of leads available in this LeadStream”
This setting only applies to the Leads section and determines whether your team sees how many leads are available.
When would you want to hide this?
- If you're using a Blind Pull LeadStream with thousands of leads and don’t want your team to be influenced by that number.
- Or, if you have only a few leads and don’t want agents to avoid dialing due to a low number being shown.
- In RoundRobin LeadStreams with no distribution limits, this feature isn’t relevant—because the moment a lead enters the stream, it’s assigned and the number appears as zero anyway.
Here’s an example:
- In a LeadStream like Hot and Fresh, the lead count is shown (e.g., 174 leads).
- In another LeadStream like Winbacks Call 1, the lead count is hidden, and team members simply see a dial session button, signaling that leads are available.
One of our customers needed this feature because their reps worked across different industries. They didn’t want agents cherry-picking LeadStreams based on volume—they just needed them to get dialing.
👥 Adding Team Members to LeadStreams
Now let’s talk about adding your team to a LeadStream.
When creating a new LeadStream, the last step in the process will automatically prompt you to add recipients (team members). But what if you need to adjust that later?
In the LeadStreams list, look under the Actions column for the icon that looks like three people (or a "flower" shape). Click on it to manage recipients.
You’ll see:
- Who’s currently part of the LeadStream
- How many leads they’ve received
- Any daily or total lead limits
- Lead type (Blind or Preview Pull)
Let’s say I remove Cassie from this stream. She now shows up under the “Add recipient” section.
When adding a user back, depending on the LeadStream type, you’ll have different options:
- For Blind/Preview Pull, you can:
- Choose Blind or Preview access
- Set daily and total lead limits
- Assign a dialer preset
- For RoundRobin streams:
- Only daily limits apply
- No dialer presets or total limit options are shown
So the interface adjusts based on the stream type.
To remove or pause a team member from a LeadStream, you simply use the same management window. (Pausing was covered in another video.)
Thanks for taking a moment to watch this video. I hope it helps you and your organization get the most out of your data with PhoneBurner.
Happy dialing!
