✅ Summary:
This training video walks through how to set up a Blind Pull LeadStream in a networked account in PhoneBurner. Networked accounts allow the entire team to share a single database, and Blind Pull LeadStreams enable multiple users to work from the same contact pool without duplicating efforts. This setup also ensures leads are evenly distributed and follow-up workflows remain organized, even within a shared environment.
Key Highlights:
- Networked vs. Standalone:
- Standalone: Each rep has a private contact database.
- Networked: All reps share the same database and folders—great for collaborative teams.
- Blind Pull LeadStream Setup:
- Contacts are pulled in real time by whoever is actively calling.
- Create shared distribution, receiving, and recycling folders.
- Configure recycling (e.g., every 6 hours) to return unconnected leads back to the pool.
- Dialer Presets and Dispositions:
- Create rep-specific dialer presets (e.g., Jeff, Heather, Cassie).
- Each preset uses a unique live answer set to route contacts into rep-specific folders or shared folders tagged with the rep's name.
- For follow-ups, use shared folders with rep tags instead of separate folders for scalability.
- Save Searches for Follow-Ups:
- Each rep should have a personalized saved search showing only their tagged follow-ups.
- Admins can create team-wide saved searches, but reps need to pin their own for daily use.
- Working in a Shared System:
- Contacts dispositioned into “Appointments” or “Follow-Ups” are automatically organized based on tags or folders.
- Reps never step on each other’s leads, even in a shared environment.
- Optional: Admins can jump into any rep’s folders to assist or cover during absences.
This setup is ideal for collaborative sales teams and ensures real-time responsiveness and efficient lead management while maintaining clear lead ownership.

📝 Cleaned-Up Transcript:
As many of you may know, there are a couple of ways to configure your account in PhoneBurner to manage contacts and data. Specifically, we're referring to standalone vs. networked account setups.
Hopefully, you’ve seen some training on this in other modules. In a standalone setup, each team member has their own database, meaning they only see and manage their own contacts—very common for most teams. On the other hand, networked mode is designed for collaborative teams where everyone shares one database.
Switching to a Networked Account
Go to Team Settings > Advanced and switch from standalone to networked. PhoneBurner accounts default to standalone, but if you decide to switch:
- You’ll get a warning that existing contacts in each user’s database won’t be migrated to the admin account. You'll need to handle that manually if desired.
- In our example, we’re not migrating contacts—leaving them in place allows us to revert if necessary.
Once switched, everyone sees the same folders and contacts. For example, if the admin sees 178 contacts in “Winbacks Call 1,” so will every team member.
Setting Up a Blind Pull LeadStream
Let’s walk through setting up a Blind Pull LeadStream in this networked account.
Step 1: Accessing LeadStream
- In networked accounts, LeadStream isn’t shown by default in the navigation.
- Use a Quick Link to
phoneburner.com/rotater/indexto access LeadStreams.
Step 2: Create the LeadStream
- Click Add LeadStream
- Name:
Network Blind Pull - Type: Blind Pull
- Create and assign a Dialer Preset called
Networked Preset - Set up:
- Distribution Folder:
Network Blind Pull - Receiving Folder:
Network Blind Pull RCV - Recycling Folder: same as distribution (recycle after 6 hours)
- Distribution Folder:
Rep-Specific Dispositions
We need each rep to handle their own follow-ups and appointments. So we build rep-specific live answer sets:
- Set Appointment → Moves contact to a rep-specific folder
- Follow-Up → Moves contact to a shared follow-up folder and applies a rep tag
- Also remove other rep tags to avoid overlap
Repeat this process for each rep: Jeff, Heather, and Cassie.
Creating Rep-Specific Dialer Presets
Each rep needs a preset that:
- Uses the appropriate live answer set
- Has the rep’s caller ID and voicemail
- Avoids assigning another rep’s resources
Finalizing the LeadStream
Return to your Blind Pull LeadStream and add recipients one by one:
- Assign each recipient a unique preset (e.g., Jeff gets “Network Preset – Jeff”)
Now, reps can begin dialing. As they connect with leads, disposition buttons move or tag contacts correctly.
Import Contacts & Start Dialing
- Go to Contacts > Import
- Choose the distribution folder:
Network Blind Pull - Assign a lead source to track results
- Import data (e.g., 1,000 contacts)
Once imported:
- Reps can start a dial session
- Missed calls go back to the pool
- Live contacts go to appointments or follow-up folders with rep-specific tagging
Save Searches for Follow-Ups
Each rep should create a saved search for their follow-ups:
- Filter by:
- Folder =
Follow-ups - Tag = rep name
- Follow-up date = today or earlier
- Folder =
Admins can create these searches, but reps must pin them to their dashboard.
Wrap-Up
With this setup:
- Everyone works from the same pool
- Contacts are routed properly using rep-specific presets
- Tags and folders prevent overlap
- Reps only see their own follow-ups, even in a shared environment
You can optionally use centralized views (like “Today’s Follow-Ups”) or keep reps in their own workflow—whatever fits your team best.
This configuration makes it easy for collaborative teams to scale outreach and follow-ups efficiently. Let us know if you need help fine-tuning your workflow. Thanks again, and happy dialing!
