✅ Summary:
In this training, you'll learn how to build a Blind Pull LeadStream that continuously cycles through a shared pool of contacts while prioritizing real-time hot leads as they arrive. This setup enables your team to start dialing immediately and stay productive all day, with new leads always taking top priority and recycled leads being reattempted based on smart prioritization logic.
Key Highlights:
- Create a Blind Pull LeadStream named Hot Fresh Leads
- Configure:
- Dialer preset (voicemail, script, live answer & disposition sets, caller ID, call recording)
- Distribution folder for new contacts
- Receiving folder (locked to ensure consistency)
- Recycle logic: contacts not reached are recycled back after 2 hours
- Prioritize leads by:
- Freshness (new contacts come first)
- Total number of times a contact has been called (less-called contacts prioritized)
- Assign team members with optional daily lead limits
- Upload/import contacts manually or feed them via API or Zapier
- Once in the system, new leads appear immediately as the next call
- Recycled contacts are automatically deprioritized to allow newer leads higher visibility
- Supports multiple reps dialing simultaneously without contact overlap
- Flexibility to pause users, edit assignments, and update dialer presets individually
This structure is ideal for real-time lead engagement—ensuring leads are contacted quickly and efficiently, increasing your team’s contact and conversion rates.

📝 Cleaned-Up Transcript:
In this training, I’ll walk you through how to build a Blind Pull LeadStream where your team can pull from a pool of data and also handle real-time leads as they come in. The system will prioritize new leads, so your team can start dialing and stay productive all day.
Step 1: Start in Contact Manager
As an admin, go to Contact Manager, click the gear icon, and choose LeadStream.
Click Add LeadStream.
Step 2: Configure the LeadStream
Enable it and name it “Hot Fresh Leads”. You can add a description if you'd like.
Choose Blind/Preview Pull as the lead stream type.
Step 3: Create a Dialer Preset
Click Create New Preset:
- Name: Hot Fresh Leads
- Define phone script, voicemail, dialing set, live answer set, caller ID, and call recording
- If you set any field to Ask Me, the rep will be prompted to choose when starting a dial session. But for seamless dialing, define everything up front.
Click Save Changes.
Step 4: Set Up Folders
Distribution Folder:
Click Create New Folder and name it Hot Fresh Leads. This folder contains all the contacts you want reps to call.
Receiving Folder:
Click Create Folder and name it Hot Fresh RCV. This is where a contact goes the moment a rep starts calling them.
Lock the receiving folder so reps can't change it.
Step 5: Configure Recycling
If a call attempt doesn't result in a disposition (e.g., voicemail or no answer), the contact will stay in the receiving folder.
You can set it to recycle back to the Hot Fresh Leads folder after a certain time—say 2 hours—to be tried again.
Set recycle logic:
- From Time Lead Was Distributed (recommended for real-time prioritization)
- Recycle leads after 2 hours
Step 6: Prioritization Logic
In this training, the account is configured to:
- Prioritize newly added leads
- Then prioritize by least number of times a contact has been called
No need to sort by custom field for this example.
You can optionally hide the total number of leads from reps.
Click Next to add recipients.
Step 7: Add Your Team
Add reps:
- Select all, or specific reps
- Set daily lead limits (e.g., limit newer reps to 30 leads per day)
- Choose Blind pull type
- Use the lead stream-level dialer preset, or assign a unique one
Click Add Recipient
You can edit or pause users later if needed.
Step 8: Start Dialing
Once added, reps will see a Leads tab showing all lead streams they’re part of.
If no leads are in the stream yet, they can’t start dialing. So let’s fix that.
Step 9: Import Leads
Go to Contacts > Import:
- Upload your file
- Map fields (name, phone, email)
- Assign to Hot Fresh Leads folder
- Optionally tag or add a source
- Skip duplicate matching if appropriate
Click Yes, please import.
Once imported, reps can begin dialing immediately.
Step 10: Blind Pull in Action
Blind Pull LeadStreams allow multiple reps to dial from the same pool without overlap.
Once a rep starts a session, the system begins feeding them leads:
- No need to select leads manually
- Fresh leads are prioritized
- Leads are moved to the receiving folder once a call starts
Step 11: Real-Time Leads
If a new lead comes in (via import, API, Zapier, etc.) and is added to the Hot Fresh Leads folder:
- It becomes the very next call
- Reps can be on the phone within seconds of the lead entering the system
You can manually test this by adding a contact (e.g., “Billy Demo”) directly into the Hot Fresh Leads folder. He will immediately move to the top of the queue.
Step 12: Recycling & Deprioritization
If a contact isn’t reached, they recycle after 2 hours. However:
- The system deprioritizes them based on how many times they've already been called
- Contacts called fewer times are prioritized next
This keeps your reps focused on fresh, unworked leads while still working through follow-ups efficiently.
If you want your account configured to prioritize contacts by total call count, reach out to support.
Final Thoughts
This Blind Pull LeadStream setup is ideal for handling real-time lead engagement and maximizing productivity across your sales team.
You can:
- Manage call volume
- Prevent rep overlap
- Recycle and reattempt missed contacts automatically
- React to incoming leads in real-time
Just keep feeding leads into the Hot Fresh Leads folder—your team stays dialing, and your system stays organized.
Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
