✅ Summary:
This training video explains how to rename, enable, and disable lead streams in PhoneBurner using the LeadStream feature. Admins can easily rename lead streams by navigating to the LeadStream settings and editing the name field. Lead streams can be enabled or disabled at three levels:
- Entire LeadStream – Use the stop/play button to pause or activate the stream. When disabled, it disappears from users' lead lists.
- Per-User Basis – Within a lead stream's "Manage Recipients" section, admins can disable access for specific team members.
- User-Level (Global Pause) – Users (or admins impersonating them) can click “Pause All” to temporarily opt out of all lead streams (useful for vacations or breaks).
These tools give admins and users flexibility and control over lead flow and visibility, making it easy to manage team activity and availability.

📝 Cleaned-Up Transcript:
As you and your team begin to take full advantage of the LeadStream feature in PhoneBurner, you’ll encounter situations where you need to enable, disable, or rename your lead streams. In this training, I’ll walk you through how to use these options in the system.
Renaming a LeadStream
To rename a lead stream:
- Log into your admin account.
- Go to the Contacts section from the Contact Manager.
- Click the gear icon on the right, then select LeadStream.
If you've seen other LeadStream trainings, you may have added LeadStream as a quick link for faster access.
On the LeadStream page, you'll see a list of your existing lead streams. For example, if you want to rename "Transfer to Admin," just click to edit it, change the name to something like "Transfer to Admin Folder," and click save. That’s it—the lead stream is renamed.
Enabling and Disabling a LeadStream (Globally)
Let’s now talk about enabling and disabling a lead stream, which is a bit more nuanced.
Each lead stream in the list has a stop button (a solid square). That’s how you disable the entire lead stream. If you click that button, the stream is paused, and the icon switches to a play button, indicating that it’s currently disabled.
Once paused:
- The lead stream no longer appears in team members' Leads tab.
- It is effectively hidden from all users.
To re-enable it, just click the play button again. You can also enable/disable the stream from within its settings. Just open the lead stream, switch its status to disabled under the general settings, and save. Go back to the main list, and you’ll see that the stream is now paused. Reverse the process to enable it again.
Enabling and Disabling LeadStreams for Specific Users
You can also enable or disable access to a lead stream on a per-user basis:
- Choose a lead stream that has multiple users (e.g., “Hot and Fresh Leads”).
- Click Manage Recipients.
- Each recipient has their own stop/play toggle.
If you disable a specific user, that user will no longer see the lead stream in their Leads tab. You can log in as that user to verify. To re-enable them, go back to Manage Recipients and toggle the play button.
Disabling All LeadStreams for a User (Global Pause)
Finally, there’s a user-level global pause. Let’s say someone is going on vacation and you don’t want them receiving any leads from roundrobin lead streams or getting notifications from lead blitz streams. The user can:
- Click the “Pause All” button in the upper right-hand corner of their LeadStream page.
This disables all lead streams for that user.
When they return, they simply click “Activate All”, and they’re back to receiving leads and making calls. If needed, you as the admin can log in as that user and pause or activate their streams for them.
That’s a quick overview of how to rename, enable, and disable lead streams in PhoneBurner. I hope this helps your team stay organized and efficient.
Thanks again for watching—and happy dialing!
