Authorize Sending Addresses in Zoho:
-
Back in Zoho’s BCC Dropbox settings, add any email addresses you’ll be using to send emails from PhoneBurner to the list of approved senders.

Triggering and Verifying Email Logs:

Begin a dial session in PhoneBurner.
-
Use a disposition (like “No Answer”) that’s set up to trigger an email.
-
End the session and return to Zoho to verify that the email is now logged in the Email section of the contact’s record.

Hello there, and thank you for taking a moment to watch this video. In this training, I want to talk to you about getting the emails you trigger from PhoneBurner® to log in your Zoho CRM—so that there's a record of all the emails you're sending while making phone calls using PhoneBurner.
One of the great features of PhoneBurner is the ability to automatically trigger an email based on the call outcome. And as you know, when launching a dial session from Zoho, it becomes incredibly simple to power through your calls—so why not send an email as well? But if you're sending emails, you also want to make sure they're logged in Zoho. Let me show you how to do that.
From within your Zoho account, on the left-hand side, go to Settings. Then, under the Channels section, click on Email, and then select BCC Dropbox.
If you haven’t generated a BCC Dropbox email address, make sure you do that now. (Obviously, don’t use mine—that won't help you!) Once you’ve generated your personal BCC Dropbox address, copy it.
Now, head over to PhoneBurner. In your PhoneBurner account, click your initials in the upper right-hand corner, then go to My Account. On the left-hand side, click on Back Office.
In the Auto BCC Address field, paste the address you copied from Zoho, then save your changes.
Next, go back to Zoho’s BCC Dropbox settings, and make sure to add the email address you’ll be using to send emails from PhoneBurner to the list of approved email addresses. After making this update, save your changes in Zoho.
Now that everything’s set up, let’s go back to a dial session in PhoneBurner and make a call. Let’s say we mark the contact as Interested, then move to the next contact.
Now, let’s trigger an email by selecting a disposition with an email assigned—I'll use the "No Answer" option. I’ll also click on the contact's record to open it up so we can take a look shortly.
After selecting "No Answer," we move to the next call. I’ll end the dial session now since we don’t need to keep going. Let’s return to that contact’s record in Zoho.
Once the record updates—which might take a minute—you should see that the email has been logged in the Email section for that contact. Let’s give it a quick refresh.
And there it is! After a couple of minutes, the email shows up, logged as a sent message on that contact's record in Zoho. I can click to view it—and as you can see, that's a highly effective email I created there!
So, that's how easy it is to configure your PhoneBurner account so that all emails triggered during calls are logged into Zoho.
Thanks again for watching this video, and happy dialing!
