Making your prospecting calls doesn't need to be complicated. Let me show you how you can create dynamic prospecting lists in Zoho so you know exactly who to focus on every day — and truly unleash the power of your data.
PhoneBurner makes this extremely simple.
Here, you can see I'm making some calls using the PhoneBurner power dialer, and each of these calls is automatically logged in Zoho, updating the specific record that was called.
Now, as you're making prospecting calls, not everyone will answer the phone. Even though PhoneBurner has the highest live answer rates in the industry, not everyone will be available when you make your call. That's why dynamic prospecting lists are so important.
Let me show you what happens after each of these calls. I'll go ahead and end this session, make Zoho full-screen, and refresh the list.
Notice that several contacts have disappeared — they've been removed from the list. That's because I created a dynamic prospecting list that only shows contacts I want to be prospecting right now.
It's super easy to set this up in PhoneBurner and Zoho. Here's how I built this specific list:
- In the list filters, I excluded all contacts named Jack — okay, I'm joking! I don't mind talking to a Jack on the phone.
But in all seriousness, what really makes this work are the dynamic filters based on PhoneBurner data:

PhoneBurner Last Call Outcome:
- This field updates automatically after every call. For example, if I connect with someone who's interested or schedule a follow-up, I exclude them from my list.

PhoneBurner Last Call Time:
- This date and time field also updates automatically. I use it to exclude contacts I’ve already called today — ensuring my list only shows people I still need to reach.
- After refreshing the list, it updates to show only those contacts that are due for a call. Tomorrow or whenever I continue, those previously called contacts will automatically reappear for follow-up attempts.

Uncontacted Prospects Filter:
- This filter identifies contacts who have never been called, ensuring that new leads are always included in my prospecting list.
