Hello there, and thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, weâre going to talk about how to install the PhoneBurnerÂź app into your Salesforce environment.
Weâve all been thereâlooking at a long list of leads or contacts in Salesforce, thinking, âIt sure would be nice if I could power through these calls faster.â
Well, with PhoneBurner, you canâand installing the app is super simple.
Step 1: Admin Permissions & Prerequisites
â First, make sure you are a Salesforce adminâyouâll need that access to install apps.
â Second, make sure you have Enhanced Notes enabled. Hereâs how:
Click the gear icon in the top-right â click Setup.
In the Quick Find, search for âNotesâ.
Click Note Settings.
Make sure âEnable Notesâ is checked â then Save.
This is required for the PhoneBurner app to function properly.
Step 2: Install from Salesforce AppExchange
Click on the App Launcher â click View All.
Select âVisit AppExchange.â
đ Tip: Itâs best to open the full AppExchange site instead of using the pop-up window.
Search for PhoneBurner in the AppExchange.
Click on âGet It Now.â
Log in when prompted.
Step 3: Installation Options
Youâll be asked whether to install for:
Admins only,
Specific profiles, or
All users (recommended).
We recommend selecting Install for All Users, unless you have a specific reason to restrict access.
đ If you install for Admins or select profiles, youâll need to configure additional permissions after installation.
Click Install.
If it takes a few minutes, you may see a message saying itâs running in the background.
Click Done.
By the time youâre back on the Installed Packages page, you should see PhoneBurner listed.
