đź“‹ Summary
This video explains how to access and apply the PhoneBurner Dashboard that comes pre-installed with the PhoneBurner managed package for Salesforce. The dashboard provides a consolidated view of call activity, lead list views, and reporting components—all embedded into the Salesforce homepage.
The training walks users through:
-
Accessing the Lightning App Builder to customize homepages,
-
Applying the PhoneBurner Sample Dashboard layout to any Salesforce app (e.g., Sales app),
-
Making the dashboard visible by setting it as the App Default or App + Profile-specific view,
-
Using the embedded Lead List Views and reports to launch dial sessions directly from the dashboard.
This approach helps sales teams streamline their workflow by centralizing dialing, tracking, and reporting into a single view.

Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’re continuing our Salesforce integration and setup series for PhoneBurner®.
If you haven’t already watched the previous videos, I highly recommend going back—they all build on each other.
Today’s Focus: The PhoneBurner Dashboard
When you install the PhoneBurner app in Salesforce, it comes with a pre-built dashboard layout that you can apply to any homepage in your org.
Let’s say you typically work out of the Sales App—you can customize the homepage of that app to show PhoneBurner call tools, list views, and reports.
How to Apply the Dashboard:
In the Sales App, click the gear icon in the upper right.
Choose Edit Page.
You’ll land in the Lightning App Builder, where you see a scaled version of the current homepage layout.
While you can edit the page directly, we’re going to switch to the PhoneBurner Sample Dashboard:
Click on Pages in the left-hand menu.
Locate and select PhoneBurner Sample Dashboard.
Click Confirm.
Now you’ll see the full layout, which includes:
Lead List Views (you can launch dial sessions directly from these),
Embedded reporting components (we’ll cover those more in a later training).
If you want to start using this, you’ll need to activate the page.
Activation Options:
Org Default – applies across the entire org.
App Default – sets it as the homepage only for a specific app (like Sales).
App + Profile – customizes visibility based on both the app and user profile.
In this example, we’ll select App Default for the Sales App.
Final Result:
Now, when you navigate back to the Sales App’s homepage, you’ll see the PhoneBurner Dashboard, which allows your team to:
Quickly see and launch dial sessions from prioritized lead list views,
Stay focused on leads that matter most,
Use built-in reports to monitor performance.
You can customize which list views show here to match your sales process.
And that’s how easy it is to use the built-in PhoneBurner Dashboard to supercharge your Salesforce homepage!
Thanks again for watching—and as always, happy dialing!
