đź“‹ Summary
This training video explains how to use the three custom fields added to the Leads and Contacts objects by the PhoneBurner® Salesforce package to build dynamic, high-impact list views that help sales reps focus on the most relevant leads or contacts.
The three fields are:
-
Number of Attempted Calls – increments with each PhoneBurner call.
-
Last Attempt Date – automatically logs the date/time of the most recent call.
-
Last Disposition – logs the outcome of the last call (e.g., Voicemail, Not Interested, Set Appointment).
The video shows how to:
-
Filter list views based on these fields (e.g., call attempts = 0, last attempt < today, or specific dispositions).
-
Use filter logic (e.g., OR vs. AND conditions) to include both uncalled and outdated leads.
-
Combine PhoneBurner fields with other Salesforce fields (like Lead Status) to build call sequences or cadences.
-
Build smarter, more targeted lists that avoid duplicate efforts or over-contacting.
This approach allows teams to dial more efficiently, avoid calling leads too soon after a previous attempt, and better manage their outreach strategies.

Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’re continuing our PhoneBurner® integration with Salesforce, and specifically focusing on how to use list views in conjunction with the three custom fields you get from the PhoneBurner package:
Number of Attempted Calls
Last Attempt Date
Last Disposition
These fields are automatically added to both the Leads and Contacts objects during installation, and they are updated as you make calls through PhoneBurner.
What These Fields Do:
Number of Attempted Calls – Increments every time PhoneBurner logs a call to the record.
Last Attempt – Logs the date and time of the most recent attempt.
Last Disposition – Shows the outcome of the most recent call, such as “Voicemail,” “No Answer,” or “Set Appointment.”
These updates are made automatically through a Salesforce Flow included in the PhoneBurner managed package.
Why These Fields Matter:
Because PhoneBurner enables you to make 60–80+ calls per hour, it's critical that your lists are well-targeted.
You should only be dialing people who matter most right now.
You don’t want to re-call someone the same day—or someone who already scheduled a meeting.
Building a Dynamic List View:
Let’s jump into the Leads object to show how this works.
From your list view, click the gear icon to select the following fields:
Number of Attempted Calls
Last Attempt
Last Disposition
Example Filters:
Last Attempt < Today – Show people you haven’t called today.
Last Attempt = Blank – Show people who haven’t been called at all.
Combine these with filter logic:
1 AND (2 OR 3)
– e.g., Include anyone who hasn't been called or who hasn’t been called today.Want to get even more precise?
Add a filter like Last Disposition = "No Answer" to exclude people who booked meetings, or connected already.
Strategy:
You can create Call 1, Call 2, Call 3 list views to guide reps through cadences.
Use filters like:
“Attempted Calls = 0” (Call 1)
“Attempted Calls = 1 AND Last Attempt < Today” (Call 2)
“Last Disposition ≠Set Appointment” (for follow-ups)
And of course, combine these with fields like Lead Status, Region, or Source to further refine your call lists.
That’s it! By taking advantage of these three fields and building smart list views, you’ll ensure your team is always dialing the right people at the right time.
Thanks again for taking the time to watch this video—and happy dialing!
