đź“‹ Summary
This training video walks through how to view and track past calling activity in Salesforce via the Dial Session History tab in the PhoneBurner app. While standard Salesforce reports (included in the installation package) offer insights into call activity—particularly on the Leads object—this Dial Session History tool provides a broader, session-level view of all calling activity made through PhoneBurner.
Key takeaways:
-
The Dial Session History tab in the PhoneBurner app provides a monthly breakdown of all call sessions tied to your account.
-
You can view:
-
The contacts called in each session,
-
The result of each call, and
-
A direct link to the Salesforce record of each contact or lead.
-
-
To enable this feature, users must ensure their API Key and User Key are configured correctly in Salesforce (covered in a prior training video).
This gives reps and managers powerful visibility into historical call efforts—across both Salesforce and PhoneBurner—without manual logging.

Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’re continuing our discussion around the PhoneBurner + Salesforce integration.
Specifically, we’re going to talk about how to track and view your previous call activity made through PhoneBurner—from inside Salesforce.Hopefully, you already watched the prior training on the Salesforce reports included in the PhoneBurner install package.
Those reports help you review all of your activity on the Leads object. But there’s another powerful place to check call activity: the Dial Session History tab in the PhoneBurner app.
Where to Find It:
Open the PhoneBurner App inside Salesforce.
Click on the Dial Session History tab.
This gives you a comprehensive view of every call session you’ve ever made using PhoneBurner.
The history is not limited to Salesforce data—it reflects your full PhoneBurner account usage.
For example, in this training demo, the account has been active for years, and I can go back and see historical dial sessions across all months.
Viewing Session Details:
Let’s click into a session from September.
You’ll see a list of every contact called during that session.
You can view:
The call outcome,
And click to view the Salesforce record of that contact.
In this example, it takes me straight to the lead record, and I can see the call activity logged right on the record.
Important Setup Note:
To access the Dial Session History and features like voicemail recording details, you must add your API Key and User Key to Salesforce.
If you haven’t done that yet, be sure to go back and watch the prior video that walks through API Key setup.
That’s it! The Dial Session History tab offers a fast and powerful way to review your PhoneBurner calling history inside Salesforce.
Thanks again for taking the time to watch this video—and as always, happy dialing!
