đź“‹ Summary
This video introduces the three custom fields that the PhoneBurner® app automatically adds to the Contacts object in Salesforce when the app is installed. These fields play a crucial role in enabling call tracking, list segmentation, and workflow automation within your CRM.
The three fields are:
-
Number of Attempted Calls – Automatically increments with every PhoneBurner call attempt.
-
Last Attempt Date – Automatically updated with the date and time of the most recent call.
-
Last Disposition – Records the outcome of the most recent call (e.g., Voicemail, Set Appointment).
These fields can be added to your list views to track call engagement and build dynamic, filterable lists that guide sales reps through structured follow-up cadences. Updates to these fields are managed through an included Salesforce Flow in the installation package.

Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’re continuing our Salesforce integration and setup series, and more specifically, we’re diving into the Contacts object.
Salesforce offers many different objects to help you manage data across your organization—but right now, we’re focused on Contacts, so that you and your team can move through your calls faster using the power of PhoneBurner®.
Custom Fields from the PhoneBurner App
Once you install the PhoneBurner app inside your Salesforce org, we automatically create three custom fields to help with call tracking and list building.
Let me show you how to view them in a list view:
I’m in a list view called PhoneBurner Training.
I’ll click the gear icon (List View Controls), and choose Select Fields to Display.
The three fields provided by PhoneBurner are:
Number of Attempted Calls
Last Attempt
Last Disposition
I’ll add those fields to this list view and clean up some of the others for simplicity. Once I hit Save, the updated list shows these new columns.
What Do These Fields Do?
Number of Attempted Calls
This field automatically increases by 1 every time you attempt to call this contact using PhoneBurner.Last Attempt
Automatically records the date and time of the last call attempt.Last Disposition
Stores the outcome of the most recent call (e.g., Not Interested, Voicemail, Set Appointment).Currently, these fields are blank because we haven’t made any calls yet. Once you begin a PhoneBurner dial session and start making calls, these fields will automatically update thanks to a Flow that comes with the PhoneBurner installation.
Why This Matters
With these fields:
You can create filtered and dynamic list views.
You can automate follow-up cadences.
You ensure that every contact is worked systematically.
That’s a quick overview of the three fields you get when you install the PhoneBurner package in Salesforce.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this video—and as always, happy dialing!
