Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’re continuing our Salesforce integration and setup series for the PhoneBurner® Power Dialer.
If you haven’t watched the earlier videos yet, I recommend going back so you’re fully caught up. In this video, we’re going to focus specifically on the dial session window itself.
Launching a Session
Let’s select a record—Andrew Sample—and initiate a PhoneBurner dial session.
Normally, you’d launch a session with a full list of contacts, but for this demo, we’re focusing on just one to review the interface.
Inside the Dial Session Window
Once connected, I’m going to click Start Dialing, then simulate a live answer and end the call so we can walk through what you’re seeing.
First, you’ll notice that the contact’s details appear in an iframe, pulled directly from Salesforce.
For example:
If I want to update Andrew’s name to “Andrew Updated,” I simply double-click, edit, and hit OK.
Just remember—you must click Save to ensure those updates sync back to Salesforce.
The fields shown in the iframe depend on your Salesforce layout configuration.
Note-Taking Options
Everyone tracks notes differently in Salesforce, so PhoneBurner supports multiple methods:
Text Field Notes
If your team uses a large text field (like “Description”) to track running notes:
Just edit the field, click OK, and don’t forget to Save.
Salesforce Notes Object
Click Create Note,
Enter a title and note content,
Click Save—it’s now stored in Salesforce as a note record.
Log Notes via Task
Click Create Follow-Up Task,
Set the task as Completed (if this was a past call),
Add the note content,
Set due date (usually today),
Click Save to log the task with note content.
Of course, this same button can also be used to create future tasks if you need to schedule a follow-up.
View Call History and Notes
Click Call History to see a list of past call activities logged for this contact.
Click the Notes tab to view all Salesforce Notes created for the contact.
You’ll see that:
The task and note we just created are immediately visible in these tabs.
Wrap-Up
When using PhoneBurner through Salesforce, the dial session window makes it easy to:
Track and manage notes,
Log call history,
And edit contact data—all from one screen.
I hope this helps you and your team get more done using the power of PhoneBurner.
Thanks again—and happy dialing!
