đź“‹ Summary
This training video demonstrates how to use PhoneBurner® dial sessions starting from the Accounts object in Salesforce. Once the “Begin Account PhoneBurner Session” button has been added to the Accounts object, users can select accounts from filtered list views and initiate dial sessions to power through calls more efficiently.
The video walks through the full dial session workflow:
-
Launching a dial session from a filtered Account list.
-
Viewing and editing Account details directly in the dial session iframe.
-
Logging notes, creating follow-up tasks, and accessing activity history and past notes within the dial session.
-
Using one-click voicemail for unanswered calls and live call dispositioning for connected conversations.
-
Automatically logging completed call activities back to the Account record in Salesforce.
This functionality streamlines the outbound process for account-based sales and customer engagement teams by offering full context, note-taking, and task creation—all within the dialer interface.

Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this specific training, we’re continuing our Salesforce integration and setup for the PhoneBurner® app.
This is just one video in a series, so I highly recommend watching all of them—and in order—so you can fully optimize your Salesforce org for PhoneBurner.
Today’s focus: launching a PhoneBurner dial session from the Account object.
We’ve already added the “Begin Account PhoneBurner Session” button to this object. Now, it’s time to:
Choose a filtered Account list view (e.g., by industry, account type, or priority),
Select the records, and
Launch a power dial session using PhoneBurner.
Launching a Session:
After a bit of quick setup, I’m connected and ready to start dialing.
I click Start Dialing.
In the dial session window, I see the Account record details pulled into an iframe from Salesforce.
Call Workflow:
If the call goes to voicemail, I click the voicemail button—no need to wait for the beep.
If someone answers, there’s no delay or awkward silence—the call connects instantly.
Once the conversation is complete, I click Live Answer, then End Call.
What Can You Do in the Dial Session Window?
Edit Account Fields: Double-click a field, update it, and click Save—changes sync directly back to Salesforce.
Create a Note: Click Create Note, type your note, and save.
Create a Follow-Up Task: Fill out task details and save—it’s logged directly in Salesforce.
View Activity History: See all logged call activity, including the one just completed.
View Past Notes: Review any previously logged notes for this account.
Access Full Record in Salesforce: Click Edit in Salesforce to open the full Account record in a new tab for more detailed edits or actions.
Finishing the Call:
Choose a disposition (e.g., “Set Appointment”) based on the call outcome.
The system logs a completed activity to the Account record.
Back in Salesforce:
After refreshing the record, you’ll see:
A call activity labeled “Call with PhoneBurner – Set Appointment” has been logged automatically.
And that’s how easy it is for your team to start calling from the Accounts object in Salesforce using PhoneBurner.
Thanks again—and happy dialing!
