Key Features and Process Overview
🛠️ Custom Dispositions in PhoneBurner
-
Dispositions such as No Answer, Voicemail, Set Appointment, Not Interested, and Follow Up are fully customizable in PhoneBurner.

You can create different disposition sets for different workflows or contact types.

A Follow Up disposition updates them to a follow-up stage.
-
-
The original "New Leads" count drops, and corresponding records appear in updated stages—no manual updates needed.

Hello there, and thank you for taking a moment to watch this video.
In this training, we’ll continue talking about the PhoneBurner® integration with Nimble CRM, and more specifically, the automation functionality available based on call outcomes.
Dispositions and Automation
Think back to your first dial session—after you activated the integration. You saw dispositions like:
-
No Answer
-
Voicemail
-
Set Appointment
-
Not Interested
These dispositions appear across the bottom of your dial session screen in PhoneBurner and are fully customizable. You can create as many as you need for your team.
What’s even more powerful is that you can trigger Nimble workflow automations based on these call outcomes.
Example: Booking an Appointment
Let’s say you want a contact’s status in Nimble to change to “Demo” any time an appointment is set.
Here’s how:
-
Go to your Nimble Workflows (e.g., “Demo Pipeline”).
-
Click Manage Automations.
-
Create a New Automation:
-
Trigger: PhoneBurner Call Done
-
Disposition: Set Appointment
-
Action: Move contact from "New Leads" to "Demo" stage
-
Finalize and save.
-
Example: Not Interested or Follow-Up
Let’s create two more automations:
-
Not Interested → Move contact to Closed Lost
-
Follow Up → Move contact to Initial Contact Made
Simply:
-
Choose the PhoneBurner disposition as the trigger.
-
Select the target stage in your workflow.
-
Finalize each automation.
✅ Pro tip: Go through every disposition in your PhoneBurner account and ensure it’s mapped to a corresponding workflow action in Nimble.
Test the Automation with a Dial Session
Let’s test this setup:
-
Go to Contacts > Demo Contacts Still Chasing.
-
Select some contacts and begin a PhoneBurner dial session.
-
Configure your settings (script, voicemail, caller ID, etc.) and start dialing.
Call Scenarios
-
Rachel Sample: Goes to voicemail → Click Voicemail
-
Lisa Sample: Voicemail → Click Voicemail
-
Jeff Sample: Answers → Have conversation → Click Set Appointment
-
Next contact: Answers → Click Not Interested
-
Andrew: Answers → Click Follow Up
You don’t need to complete the full session—PhoneBurner logs every activity and triggers your automations right away.
See the Results in Nimble
-
Originally, we had 17 contacts in New Leads.
-
After the session, we refresh and see that number has dropped—contacts have moved!
In the Demo Pipeline:
-
One contact is now in Demo
-
One in Closed Lost
-
One in Initial Contact Made
All of that happened automatically based on the dispositions selected in PhoneBurner.
And that’s it! Now you know how to create automated workflows in Nimble using PhoneBurner dispositions—helping you and your team get more done in less time.
Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
