With a PhoneBurner Premium account, you can take advantage of the PhoneBurner Power Dialer to improve outbound dialing efficiency — handling up to 60-80 calls per hour.
But did you know that with a premium account, you can also receive callbacks directly in PhoneBurner without forwarding those calls to an external number?
To enable this feature:
- Sign in to your PhoneBurner account.
- Check for the green dot on the phone icon in the upper-right corner — this means you're ready to accept inbound calls.
- If you prefer not to take inbound calls, simply switch to Do Not Disturb, which changes the dot to red.
Let’s switch back to accepting calls so I can show you what an inbound call looks like.
Now, let's say a prospect calls back. When that happens, a pop-up window will appear. If you're not looking at the screen, you'll hear an audible tone to alert you.
To answer, click Accept. Ensure your browser allows PhoneBurner to access your headset, and you’ll be connected.
During the call, you can:
- Click Mute for private conversations.
- Use the keypad to navigate phone menus.
- Click View Contact to open the full contact record for notes and reference.
Since this contact details window opens in a separate tab, you can move it to another screen for convenience.
Once the call is complete, click Hang Up.
At this point, you’ll assign a disposition to categorize the outcome of the call. For example, if Robert called back and I need to follow up, I’ll select the Follow-up disposition.
This prompts me to set a follow-up date — I'll select a date two weeks out and click Confirm.
Once I confirm, the dialer window will close, and I'll be taken back to Robert's contact details.
If I refresh the page, you'll see the follow-up date has been updated based on the disposition I just set.
And that’s it! Taking inbound calls in PhoneBurner is that simple.
If you’re not yet a premium customer, now’s the time to upgrade — boost your outbound call efficiency and start handling inbound calls directly in PhoneBurner today.
Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
