I highly recommend that people purchase numbers through us so that we can protect those numbers with ARMOR®. But when you have a phone number purchased through PhoneBurner, how do you receive those inbound calls?
There are several ways to do this, and in this training, I want to show you how to configure your account so that calls routed to you are forwarded to your cell phone or office phone.
It’s super simple. Every PhoneBurner user has their own Inbound Routing Settings.
To access these settings:
- Click on your initials in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select Inbound from the dropdown menu.
This will take you to the Inbound Settings page, where you'll see any phone numbers specifically assigned to you. Calls to these numbers are routed directly to you, and other routing strategies won’t affect them.
If you want those inbound calls forwarded to an external number, follow these steps:
- Scroll down to the Inbound Routing section.
- Ensure Enable Call Forwarding is set to On.
- Enter the phone number you’d like to receive forwarded calls on.
- Click Save.
That’s it! It's that easy to configure your account so that any callbacks routed to you are forwarded to your preferred number.
Take a moment now to check your inbound routing settings and ensure your calls are set to go where you need them.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this video, and happy dialing!
