Cleaned-Up Transcript
Every call you make with PhoneBurner must include an outbound caller ID, and PhoneBurner offers a variety of options for that. You can bring your own caller ID or purchase numbers directly through PhoneBurner. These purchased numbers can be organized into groups called "number pools."
If you're purchasing numbers through PhoneBurner, people may call you back occasionally. You can view these details by clicking the Inbound tab at the top.
On the inbound page, you can access your Call History and Voicemail sections. Let's start with the Call History section.
At the top, there's a Filter Bar that allows you to filter data. For example, you can filter to view only incoming calls that were answered. Admins can further filter by team members if needed.
Below the filter bar, the call history grid shows important details:
- Rep/Account: Displays who made or received the call.
- Caller ID Information: Shows what number was used for outbound calls or what number was called during inbound calls.
- Call Direction: An arrow pointing right means the left-side contact called the right-side contact. An arrow pointing left means the reverse.
- Contact Information: If the contact is saved in PhoneBurner, their name will be clickable, allowing you to access their details directly.
- Phone Numbers, Date/Time, and Call Duration are also displayed.
On the far right, you may see multiple icons:
- Click-to-Call Button: An orange button that lets you call the contact directly from the screen.
- Call Recording Icon: An orange square where you can listen to and download recordings (if call recording is enabled).
- Voicemail Icon: A cassette tape icon that allows you to listen to voicemails left on inbound calls.
If a number isn’t linked to a contact, you’ll have the option to add it directly by filling in the necessary details and selecting a folder.
If you don’t have access to the voicemail feature, the voicemail icons and tab won’t be visible. However, if you do have access, you can visit the voicemail section to listen, archive, or download voicemails.
That's a brief overview of managing your call history and voicemail in PhoneBurner. Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
