Summary
In this video, the speaker addresses an issue affecting some users integrating PhoneBurner with Salesforce, specifically those embedding Visualforce pages in lead or contact details.
Users have reported that embedded Visualforce pages suddenly stopped displaying in the lead/contact details page. After investigating, the team discovered a workaround:
- Duplicating the Visualforce page and embedding it a second time on the lead details page.
- The second instance of the Visualforce page will display correctly, while the first remains blank.
- To avoid unnecessary white space, users can resize the first page to one pixel to hide it.
The root cause remains unclear, and PhoneBurner has reached out to Salesforce support for further investigation. This workaround provides a temporary solution until an official fix is available.

Cleaned-Up Transcript
Some of you using the PhoneBurner integration with Salesforce may have more complex lead or contact details that you want to display to users while making calls. Generally, this should work without issues, but we've recently noticed a problem for users trying to embed a Visualforce page in lead details.
If you're not embedding Visualforce pages, you can skip this video. However, if you are doing this or want to, this information will be useful.
I'll walk you through the issue and a workaround we’ve found. In my example, I have a basic Visualforce page displaying a lead ID and other information. It’s just a placeholder to illustrate the problem.
Issue
A few months ago, some users reported that their embedded Visualforce pages disappeared from lead or contact details. The page was still there but not displaying any content.
When reviewing the setup:
- I had a Visualforce page embedded in the lead details page.
- I even created a second, identical Visualforce page to test the issue.
What we found is that when only one Visualforce page is embedded, it won't display. However, if you create a second identical Visualforce page and embed it below the first, the second one will display properly—but the first will remain blank.
Workaround
- Duplicate the existing Visualforce page and embed it a second time below the first.
- The second Visualforce page will display correctly.
- The first instance still creates white space, but you can resize it to one pixel to effectively hide it.
Next Steps
- We've reached out to Salesforce support to understand why this issue started occurring.
- The root cause is unknown, but this workaround effectively restores functionality.
We hope this helps your organization get the most out of PhoneBurner’s Salesforce integration. Thanks for watching, and happy dialing!
