- For security reasons, PhoneBurner must confirm that you control the phone number before allowing it to be used as a Caller ID.
Step 4: Improving Caller ID Performance
- Because PhoneBurner doesn’t own this number, its ability to protect it with features like ARMOR® is limited.
- To improve performance, register your number with carriers using the Free Caller Registry — a link is provided directly on the Caller ID settings page.
Step 5: Using Your New Caller ID in a Dial Session
- Once verified, your new Caller ID will appear in the Dial Session Settings window.
- Simply select it when launching your dial session to display that number as your outbound Caller ID.
That’s how easy it is to bring your own Caller ID into PhoneBurner and start using it in your outbound campaigns.
