Personal Customization codes can be used to help you dynamically add information to your emails or to SmartSender call to actions.
You can find these under my Account Circle >Email Settings> Personal Customization Codes.
It is important that you understand where to find this section and how to use it. There are 10 codes boxes in which you can add anything you want that you may need to insert into an email. Most of the time these are used for website links and mainly used for teams. As you grow you may get to a point where you start hiring other people to work for you and if you build out your system from the beginning with duplication in mind, you can save yourself some work down the road.
For example, if you want to include your website in your emails, rather than inserting your website directly into the email you can add your website to one of the Code options on this page and then use the code to add the site to the email or the SmartSender Call to Action. When you work for a company and every email you send needs to have your ID# in the email, you may want to add the ID# .
When you use these codes to insert into your emails, you can change them quickly by changing the customization codes , rather than editing each email.
To enter the codes into your emails, go to your Email Library and use the Inserts Personalization Code icon to use the code you just created.
