How can I answer/handle incoming calls?
When an incoming call is routed to you, you have multiple options for how you want to handle it.
- Forward the call to an external number
- Route the call directly into your dial session (Premium only)
- Use your PhoneBurner voicemail box (Premium only)
Forwarding the call
If you choose this option, calls to your numbers will simply be forwarded to the number you have on file.
When you use this option in conjunction with the Voicemail option, we’ll try your line first, and if you don’t pick up, we’ll direct the call to your PhoneBurner Voicemail box instead.
Answering calls in your dial session
Premium Accounts can also choose to send calls directly into your dial sessions. If you are actively dialing, the system will send the call directly into the dialer and give you the option to accept or decline.
Your PhoneBurner voicemail box
Premium accounts come with a voicemail box that you can use instead of using your personal phone’s voicemail.
When the voicemail option is enabled, calls that are not answered via call forwarding or in the dial session will be sent to your voicemail.
