Call recordings made from Phoneburner calls are sent to ZOHO for easy access.
Each call logs as an activity and if you click on the activity in ZOHO, it will take you to a page with details and a link to the call recording.
You do not have to be logged in to Phoneburner.com to get the recording.
These recordings are housed in Phoneburner for the time frame based on your plan ( 30 days, 90 days or unlimited) . They can be exported with your call records or downloaded individually if you want to back them up for storage.
Why aren't recording stored directly in ZOHO?
- Maximum file size: PhoneBurner doesn't limit the size of the call recording. Zoho limits them to 100mb.
- If we uploaded call recordings to Zoho, the subscriber has to pay for extra storage; most probably don’t want to pay double for the same content that’s already stored in PhoneBurner. For more information, see ZOHO's documentation on file storage .
