Local ID allows you to make out-of-state dials using a local area code.
When dialing, PhoneBurner will dynamically update your Caller ID when dialing local area codes you have purchased.
For example, if you are calling from a 949 area code but trying to contact someone in a 646 area code, PhoneBurner would dynamically display your 646 number. You’ll see the updated “Caller ID” number in your dialing window when the call connects – so you know it’s working.
Flexible packages allow you to purchase as many area codes as you would like and the numbers will be shared with the team members of your choice *.
Packages include all US area codes, the top 50 area codes, or you can simply choose the individual area codes you need.
If the contact misses the call and simply tries to call the Local ID number back, it will forward to the callback number that you have entered into the Local ID settings.
What happens when prospects see an area code they don't recognize? They either ignore the call, or they answer, but they're instantly guarded and skeptical. Either way, the sales agent is at a disadvantage.
Local ID allows you to make out-of-state dials using local area codes your prospects recognize, for a significant boost in live answer rates. In fact, PhoneBurner customers using Local ID average 56% more live answers.
The process is seamless. If a call is placed to an area code in your account, PhoneBurner automatically uses the local number. You’ll see the updated “Caller ID” number in your dialing window – so you know it’s working.
