Tags are a way for you to label your contacts. As you use PhoneBurner your contact lists will grow and it will become harder for you to keep track of your contacts individually or as groups.Tagging allows you to add multiple labels to your contacts and they will move with your contacts as you move them through your sales funnel/cycle. They are not required. You can add tags when you are importing contacts. When you get a new list you may want to add a tag or tags to that list when you import it into PhoneBurner to help you track those contacts as they move through your sales funnel. By adding this tag during the import each contact imported will have this tag associated with them. This can be useful when importing your contact all into the same folder.
If you imported a list without tags, then the contact manager allows you to add and remove tags to contacts in bulk. You can do this by loading the list that you want to tag and then under the more menu you will see the option to add/remove tags. Doing it this way, you can only add or remove tags one page at a time.
You can also add tags to the contacts individually from the contact record, through the Contacts tab / Tags option (from the gear wheel) , or from a dial session.
Manage Tags will allow you to fully customize your tags with colors and symbols , as well as add new ones or change existing ones.
